Note: Many pages are still under construction or are being tested.

Why it takes so long: Many changes and modification are being done to the web site and its pages to improve the overall appearance and the navigation through the web site.
The conversion of photos and slides requires the scanning of prints on a flat-bed scanner and slides on a special high-resolution slide scanner.
After the scanning, the images need to be compressed (JPG or Tiff) to about 50 to 100 KB file size to speed up the loading; some images need to be touched up for defects, or the brightness or contrast needs to be enhanced. Some color images need to be color corrected for proper tones.
All these jobs are very time-consuming and done whenever my time permits. Sorry for the inconvenience.
